The first quarter 2026 stamp issues, released in February, finally appeared for sale on the CFN website yesterday. There are six stamps/sets in this first batch for the year. Also, for the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology stamp issued in late 2025 (a joint release with Luxembourg), the stamp from Luxembourg is available for purchase on the CFN website. Anything new on Vatican postal shipments to dealers?
I’m still missing a pert of 2024 and all of 2025!
If it’s still stopped, perhaps we need some clergy to contact the Vatican authorities.

I'm afraid it all comes down to access, and the fact that we are hamstrung by the ineptitude of CFN. Items are "for sale" on the CFN website, but how soon they may arrive is anyone's guess (I just got my July, 2025 order the other day). CFN claims an eighty-day processing period, which is utterly ridiculous. It appears that even those on the continent have access issues, just like those of us in the US. Dealers and individuals in Italy (and in Rome in particular) have ready access and are taking advantage by selling items at a premium. Frustrating to say the least! (02/11/2026 - LFG)

Well, I am living in Belgium and get my Vatican Stamp from a local shop, but now almost for a very long time he answers me "nothing is coming through from the Vatican ".
But I see that the even the recent stamps can be bought on line, for a premium, via internet shops.
So what is the real situation? (02/10/2026 - FB)

Thanks Charlie, I will work to get my stamps on white ace pages in the future. There's a stamp shop near me that sells mounts. (02/02/2026 - JA)

I would disagree with the statement that the Vatican has "stopped selling" stamps to collectors. It has certainly become a challenge and a task fraught with frustration. But we are finally seeing a resumption of CFN orders arriving in the USA, so perhaps the logjam has been broken a bit and sales to US customers will return to normal. I would not say "problem solved", but a bit of light coming from the end of the tunnel. (02/01/2026 - LFG)

So guessing the Vatican has stopped selling to collectors? Asking for a friend. Thanks Steve (02/01/2026 - SA)
