
Spanish artist Radl Beroza Fernandez designed the €0,95 Pasqua 2018 stamp. It depicts the risen Jesus, his right hand raised in a blessing, in front of a white cross image on a dark yellow background. Jesus is depicted having burst the strips of his burial shroud as he looks upwards toward Heaven. The stamp is printed in sheets of ten. Radl Bergoza Fernandez (b. 1979) is a native of Malaga, Spain. He attended a Marist Brothers school, studied under local art teachers, and obtained a degree in art from the University of Malaga. He specializes in religious art such as chapel decorations (e.g. the ceiling of the Oratory of Santa Maria Reina y Madre) and other works. He designed the 2015 stamp marking the fifth centenary of the birth of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. Philip Neri (Scott 1605).
