The Palace of Spain is a baroque palace that houses the Embassy of Spain to the Holy See for 400 years. The Embassy of Spain to the Holy See is the oldest embassy in the world. Its history is also the history of diplomatic relations between Spain and the Papal States. It established its premises in the Palace of Spain, located at Rome’s Piazza di Spagna square. The Piazza di Spagna (English: Square of Spain) is one of Rome’s most renowned squares.
