One of the "niftiest" things about being a VPS member is the ability of view all issues of
Vatican Notes on the VPS website. There are 67 years of
Vatican Notes that can be viewed by registered website members. To access these online
Vatican Notes:
- Log onto the VPS website (https://vaticanstamps.org)
- Click on the "Member Login" link in the upper right corner. Links to several years of the Vatican Notes will appear
- See the link at the bottom of the page for additional back issues
While it is always enjoyable to spend time clicking around various issues of the
Vatican Notes, eventually you will want to locate some specific information. The first approach is to use one of the search boxes found on both the VPS website home page and toward the top of the member page.
An additional blessing of being a registered VPS website member is having on-line access to the various
Vatican Notes indexes that have been built over the years. These are:
- Index by Title
- Index by Author
- Index by Volume
- Index 1953-2007 (pdf)
- Index by Stamp Issue
These indexes are accessed by visiting the Member page and then clicking 'Indexes' on the gold menu bar toward the top of the screen. You now have access to the each index by clicking on the option you desire.
Where did these indexes come from? Various VPS members built these files over the years.
