Last Monday, the News should have addressed the day as “Easter Monday”, which is celebrated as a holiday in many countries, although not in the United States. However, legislation has been filed by Rep. Riley Moore (R-WV) and Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Missouri) to make Easter Monday a federal holiday.
