![]() Vatican Post released a new folder on June 16 for the stamp commemorating the first anniversary of the papacy of Pope Leo XIV. The stamp was issued a month earlier, on May 8. The press release for the folder also indicates that separate envelopes (can we call them first day covers?) for the stamp are also available for purchase. However, the folders and envelopes are currently only available for sale at “all Postal and Philately Service offices”—there is no mention of them on the CFN website. ![]() On Saturday, Pope Leo XIV ventured to northern Italy to the city of Pavia and the comune of Sant’Angelo Lodigiano (Lodi), both located about 25 miles south of Milan. In Pavia, he visited the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Golden Sky (Basilica di San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro), which dates to the 8th-century and is the site of the tomb of Saint Augustine of Hippo. Later, in Lodi, he paid veneration to Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, the first American saint, at the Basilica of St Anthony the Abbot and St Frances Cabrini.
