Since early June, VPS Leadership has been engaged in the process of membership renewals for the coming year. If you are getting this email, it means you have completed your renewal: THANK YOU.
 
No doubt we are in the most difficult part of the dues collection season. It is the time when past due letters go out to members who have not sent in their annual dues payments, and we fret about the loss of members, for whatever the reason. It is also the time when we look really hard at the operations of our Society, and wonder if the VPS can continue providing high-quality content to its members. The publishing and mailing of the quarterly Vatican Notes and the upkeep of the website are expenses that weigh heavily upon the resources of the Society.
 
We cannot say it enough: we really appreciate every member who has renewed their membership for 2027 and once again sincerely THANK YOU!!
 
We also want to thank those members who have supplemented their annual memberships with donations to VPS. These additional revenues are a great help to the Society, and every dollar goes towards maintaining the Society's operations. Many thanks indeed to those who have made donations to VPS.
 
In addition to the monetary resources provided to VPS, the leadership of the Society once again wants to reach out to our members to request your participation in the activities of VPS. We would encourage you to provide your thoughts and ideas to us to help improve the services of the Society--ideas for articles for the Notes or the website presentations such as the Daily Emails, as examples. Do you have any thoughts about ways we can reach potential new members? We want to maintain a great society focused on the collecting interests of our members, so any and all suggestions are encouraged!
