<center> <b>Eighth Birth Centenary of St. Elizabeth of Hungary<br> Scott 1365 (2007)</center></b> <br> Elizabeth, Saint of Hungary and Thuringia and daughter of King Andrew II, was born near Pressburg (present-day Bratislava) eight centuries ago. As <i>Landgräfin</i> of Thuringia and <i>Châtelaine</i> of Wartburg Castle, she founded a hospital for the needy and distributed her personal possessions to them. After the death of her husband Ludovico IV, she entered the Franciscan Third Order.
