Papal Trip to Africa
As this email is released on Monday morning, Pope Leo XIV is on the third leg of his apostolic pilgrimage to Africa and is in the country of Angola. He is the third pope to visit this southwestern African country, following Popes John Paul II (in 1992) and Benedict XVI (in 2009). Tomorrow he will head towards the final stop on his itinerary, Equatorial Guinea, where he will spend three days prior to his return to Rome on April 23. The link below goes to the Holy See website, where the reader can review past events from the trip, as well as the final stops over the coming days.
