Answer: The correct answer is Portugal

The apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima are among the most well-known events in modern Catholic history. According to Catholic tradition, the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children, Lúcia dos Santos, Francisco Marto, and Jacinta Marto, near the village of Fatima, Portugal, between May and October 1917. The events attracted significant attention and eventually made Fatima one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Catholic world.

The final apparition on October 13, 1917, was associated with what became known as the "Miracle of the Sun," witnessed by a large crowd gathered near Fatima. Over the years, popes and millions of pilgrims have visited the shrine, and Fatima has become closely associated with prayer, peace, and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today, the Sanctuary of Fatima remains one of the most visited Catholic pilgrimage destinations in the world.
