You are correct!!

Answer: Catherine of Siena was born on March 25th, 1347, and died on April 30th, 1363. She was buried at the cemetery near Santa Maria Sopra Minerva in Rome.

Raymond of Capua, a leading member of the Dominican Order, who served as its Master General from 1380 until his death in 1399, wanted to send part of Catherine’s body back to Siena to assuage her family and the Sienese. This was a task that he undertook in secrecy because he didn’t have permission to disperse her remains. In 1383 Catherine’s tomb was moved inside the Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva in Rome. It was then that her head was removed and taken to Siena where it still resides along with her right thumb which is in a smaller reliquary. Click here for more details.
