Your answer was: Raphael.
You are correct!!

Answer: Raphael was commissioned by Pope Julius II to create the 'Disputation of the Holy Sacrament' fresco for the Pope's library. The fresco is divided with an upper heavenly scene featuring Saints and Apostles, Jesus, Mary and John the Baptist; while the lower scene portrays an alter with the monstrance in the center, flanked by theologians - St Gregory, St Jerome, St Ambrose and St Augustine among others - who are debating Transubstantiation (the miraculous change by which, according to Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox dogma, the eucharistic elements at their consecration become the body and blood of Christ while keeping only the appearances of bread and wine.)
