You are correct!!

Answer: Fr. Angelo Secchi (1818 – 1878) was an Italian Catholic priest, astronomer, and pioneer of astrophysics. He was active in oceanography, meteorology, and physics, as well as astronomy. His work included the analysis of light from the stars and was one of the first to photograph stars. Fr. Angelo Secchi's work moved beyond tracking star position and motion to questions of what these bodies are made of, how they produce their light, how they form and evolve, and so on.
