Answer: The planners for the Osaka 1970 World' Fair wanted to design a place and to stimulate ideas, that would be less of an exposition and more of a festival. The designers thought that, unlike previous expositions that mostly were based on exhibitions, they wanted people to meet and socialize. The Vatican Post Office issued five stamps in participation of the 1979 Osaka World's Fair.
