Answer: Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606 – 1669), better known simply as Rembrandt, is the 17th century Dutch master painter who painted over 50 self-portraits and never his home country. In 2019 the Vatican Post Office issued a stamp to commemorate the 350th anniversary of his death.
