Answer: San Paolo fuori le Mura (St. Paul Outside the Walls) is the largest church in Rome after St. Peter's.. The Apostle Paul was brought to Rome as a prisoner and martyred between the years 64 and 67. The church's most important relic is a piece of the chain believed to have been used by Saint Paul when he was imprisoned,
