Which of these figures best describe the number of fountains found in Rome?

   over 500
   over 1000
   over 2000
   over 3000

Your answer was: over 500.

Answer: Wikipedia states that: "Rome has fifty monumental fountains and hundreds of smaller fountains, over 2000 fountains in all, more than any other city in the world." In both 1975 and 1976, the Vatican Post Office issued stamps relating to the fountains directly in Vatican City.
