You are correct!!

Answer: In 1294 Pope Celestine V first established the formal procedure for a papal resignation, then resigned. Earlier in life, Pietro di Morrone had lived as a hermit and had, in 1244, founded the order of the Celestines based on the example of John the Baptist following the rule of Saint Benedict, but adding to it additional severities and privations.

After the death of Pope Nicholas IV in April 1292 the cardinals assembled at Perugia and after two years named Pietro di Morrone at the age of 79 as Pope. He was crowned Pope at Santa Maria di Collemaggio in the city of Aquila, taking the name Celestine V. He served from August 29th to December 13, 1294, wanting to return to life as a hermit. However, his successor Pope Boniface VIII imprisoned Pope Celestine V who worried that the former Pope might be installed as an antipope. Imprisoned, Pope Celestine V died and was buried at Ferentino, but his body was subsequently moved to the Basilica of Santa Maria di Collemaggio in L'Aquila.
