The Vatican Post Office issued a set of stamps commemorating Olympilex 87, a world exhibition of Olympic philately held in Rome in 1987. The four-stamp set was printed on a single sheet with a border quote from St. Paul (taken from 1 Cor 9:24-26). In that quote St, Paul states that all athletes exercise:

   self-control
   honesty
   fair play
   unity

Answer: St. Paul states that all athletes exercise self-control. The four stamps are images from the mosaics taken from the Baths of Caracalla which are preserved by the Vatican Museums. Material from these baths were re-used in later buildings of Rome. .
