Answer: The original Earth Day was in 1970. In 2020 the Vatican Post Office issued a set of stamps to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day. The stamps were designed by Joyce Chiarella who "... aims to seek and simultaneously represent everywhere the beauty and harmony of creation...".
