Answer: From 1929 to 2000, all Vatican postage values were displayed in 'Lira'.

The Vatican Post Office began displaying the postage values in 'Euro' in 2001. In fact, all stamps, postcards, and the aerogramme were displayed with both the 'Lira' and the 'Euro' values for all the 2001 issues.

The 'Lira' value was discontinued and only the 'Euro' value is displayed on all Vatican City postage since the first issue of 2002.
