Answer: The image depicted on the 2010 Easter stamp is that of a very early 4th-century sarcophagus from the Pio-Christian Museum of the Vatican Museum. The importance of this image is described in the UFN announcement brochure:
"The sarcophagus shows for the first time the Cross of Christ, together with the first two letters of his name in Greek ("PX"), crowned in glory and surrounded by doves, a symbol of the faithful."
