Mission Status: Operation: Fabulous Slides
Today the Vatican Philatelic Society officially launches Operation: Fabulous Slides—our grand quest to gather member-made slides for an upcoming presentation celebrating VPS membership and the delightful world of Vatican stamp collecting.
Being ever-diligent (and slightly dramatic) the following report is given:“Dear esteemed stamp sleuths of the Vatican Stamp Society,
I have prepared the sacred slideshow pedestal…
I have fluffed the virtual curtains…
I have even practiced my ‘Next Slide, Please’ bow…
But there is one tiny problem:
I have… no… slides. Slides are needed for the Vatican Philatelic Society for Boston APS stamp show in May!
If you don’t send me your slides soon, I will be forced to illustrate the entire presentation using only pictures of my own confused expression—and nobody wants that in 1920×1080 high definition.”
Members are kindly (and cheerfully) requested to:
* Create a jpg picture slide that either:
--- Encourages Vatican Philatelic Society membership, or
--- Shows something about Vatican Stamps (collections, covers, postcards, postmarks, anything related to Vatican stamp collecting).
* Use widescreen dimensions (around 1920×1080 pixels) so everything looks crisp and consistent.
* Send in your slide to mlanahan404@outlook.com so we can assemble a unified, joyful VPS slideshow.

The goal is to get some slides together and build a good presentation that shows who we are: a community where stamps, stories, and friendship all share the same frame of Vatican stamp collecting.
Please slide your slides to mlanahan404@outlook.com before I start stitching them out of old envelopes. The world is not ready for my ‘Experimental Collage Phase.’
With your help our Society can have a good presentation for Boston 2026 in May!!
