 Vatican City's Easter 2026 stamp We want to once again wish everyone in VPS, along with your friends and family, a very Happy Easter. We hope you had a wonderful and fulfilling holiday. Pope Leo XIV participated in several Holy Week ceremonies over the last few days. Perhaps the most striking was his carrying of the cross as part of the Via Crucis event at the Colosseum in Rome on Good Friday evening. He wrapped up Easter with his "Urbi et Orbi" address from the central loggia at Saint Peter’s Basilica. Prior to the message, he announced that he will preside over a Prayer Vigil for Peace, which will be held at Saint Peter’s on this coming Saturday, April 11.
