Each year the members of the Vatican Philatelic Society are asked to cast a vote for their favorite article that appeared in the
Vatican Notes
.
What is the Veritas Award?
The Veritas Award recognizes those volunteer members who researched and submitted articles to be published in the
Vatican Notes
. VPS members are asked to vote for their ‘favorite’ nominated article published in the preceding 12 months. The award was established in the early 1990's. Veritas means 'TRUTH'. Therefore, it is a fitting name for the award.
Who selects the articles that are nominated?
The editor of the
Vatican Notes
selects the articles nominated for the Veritas Award each year.

How is the winner of the Veritas Award recognized?
There is no certificate, plaque, money or any other type of recognition given to the author of the article receiving the most votes. The winner, along with all others nominated for the award, just
‘ENJOY THE HONOR’
of being recognized by their peers. The result of your voting will be published in an upcoming
Vatican Notes
.
If you have not yet voted for your favorite Vatican Notes article, please do so by October 20, 2024.
This is your recognition to the volunteers for their hard work and research for the articles written and published in the
Vatican Notes
for your knowledge and enjoyment.
There are several ways to vote:
(1 ) Using the dues envelope - (for those that received envelopes this year). If you did not receive a dues envelope you can also mail your vote to:

(2) On-line voting from the member page (anyone who has forgotten their website login and password, you can get it at http://vaticanstamps.org/forgot):
a. Log onto the VPS website--here is the link:
www.VaticanStamps.org
b. Click ‘Member Page’ in the Upper Right
c. Click ‘Veritas Vote’ on the Far Right below the Gold Bar
d. Voting screen will appear. Enter your email address into designated box.
e. Check your article of choice and Click ‘Submit’ then Click 'OK'
f. Your vote has been cast
(3) Members can email their vote to Dennis Brady (VPS Treasurer/Secretary): dbrady7534@gmail.com
(4) Members can vote in person at Vatican Stamp Day at the Spellman Museum on October 19, 2024 from noon to 5pm in Weston Massachusetts.
All votes must be cast on or before October 20, 2024.
