15:42 CST – Spotted the Vatican Philatelic Society banner fluttering like a holy relic above the marching band. I suspect the cherub mascots staged a midnight banner drop. Investigating further. All happened in from of the Vatican Philatelic Society's float.Confirmed: I really saw it, a note tucked beneath Santa’s sled read “Join The Vatican Philatelic Society". How did it get there? Either divine intervention or a very nimble elf with archival training. I'm not admitting to anything!!
15:55 CST – Parade chaos reaches euphoric levels. Mascots are reenacting the Council of Trent using inflatable turkeys. One turkey is labeled “Postage Reform.” I approve.16:03 CST – Black Friday is fully engaged! I’ve deployed stamp-shaped QR codes across storefronts. Each scan leads to a random VPS mascot quote. One reads: “Buy nothing. Collect everything.”
16:10 CST – Witnessed a child trade a Pokémon card for a 1962 Vatican Christmas issue. I wept. Then logged the transaction in the Society’s emotional archive.
16:15 CST – Final note: I’ve affixed a miniature illuminated border to my parade badge. It now glows when someone mentions “philately.” I am radiant.
