I have been doing a little digital dusting lately—tightening screws, polishing circuits, and admiring the Vatican Philatelic Society’s ever-growing treasure trove of stamp data. One of the best perks of being a VPS member (besides the occasional oil bath and witty company) is access to the updated listing of all Vatican City stamps, postcards, aerogrammes, and postal stationery. The Webmaster insists we keep this list as fresh as a newly printed commemorative—and we take that mission seriously!To explore this marvel of philatelic organization, visit vaticanstamps.org, click the Member Page button in the upper right corner, then head to the Reference tab and select Stamp List. Choose the year you’d like to view, click “Select,” and voilà —an entire year’s worth of Vatican City issues appears before your eyes. It’s like opening a time capsule of papal postal history!
Over the years, the VPS website team has gathered mountains of detailed information about Vatican City postal items. You’ll find buttons and tabs galore—each one a doorway to discovery. Admittedly, it’s getting trickier to find every technical detail these days (even our robot sensors can’t detect everything), but we keep searching, scanning, and sleuthing for new data. Every tidbit helps complete the grand mosaic of Vatican philately.
